Fasting for health reasons is hot. I could probably find 10 people within my circle of friends who’ve tried it. But fasting for religious reasons, such as Lent, seems to have gone out of style. Why bother with it at all? And can we learn anything from the Ramadan?
Do you plan time for not just your body (exercise, eating healthy), but also for your soul? Why should you at all? And how could you do that?
My journey with religion has been bumpy, to say the least, and I don’t think it has ended either. I’m curious to see where it will lead me next.
