When we are faced with big decisions in our lives, it can be almost paralyzing. The following lessons I learned from a friend/coach and my therapist have greatly reduced my decision stress. Maybe they work for you, too.
Who holds the keys to your future and your happiness? Do you hold on to them firmly or give them away sometimes to… the weather? Family? That neighbour playing the drums at 2 a.m.?
When you’re confronted with a difficult moment, it calls on you to show who you really want to be. You show this, through your response. Not the one your emotions force you to make, but the deliberate one you decide on for yourself.
